2011 flooding at the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant on the Missouri River, Nebraska.

Nuclear vs Climate

Not only does nuclear power generate a LOT OF CARBON, it’s also completely inappropriate in a warming climate.

Flooded dams upstream of nuclear plants are a special hazard.

The opposite, drought, has caused many reactors to close due to low water levels, with France being the poster child.

Nuclear plants also must shut down if the water becomes too warm.
